Moved In~!
After 2 months and a week of renovation, we finally moved into our house. Although the process was long and hiccups along the way, we are pretty satisfied with the place. Kudos to our ID, Amos, who did a pretty good job and was always kind enough to "look after" our house when we were unavailable. Boxes were still thrown around, thus pictures will only be available after we have more or less cleared them. =P
Things which are still pending is our warerobe and final paint works as we were not happy with the finishings. Hopefully by next week, everything can be done.

Mr ah hua, our carpenter who makes the carpentry works so smooth and offers useful suggestions. You're the man!
The anonymous men, who came again and again, to make measurements and fix up all the glass panels
Mr Ng and his men, who without them, we will be living in the dark!
Mr Low, who quickly came to fix a lock for us when he knew we are moving in
Danny, for giving us suggestions when we were lost amidst the many lights that can blind your eyes
Frankie, for making the whole house looked different with his beautiful curtains and wallpapers
Moses, who patiently entertained us when we were indecisive. You must've thought we loved to shop for furniture at night!
The kind lady at Rinnai Showroom who explained the products patiently even though we did not buy from the place
Ernest and family, for being such fabulous neighbours when we share our ups and downs of renovation
Ernie, who gave us ideas for the kitchen and TV console
Doreen, who provided me valuable information with her past experience of renovating her house
and of cos, the "Famous" Amos who contributed whatever he can to us. (except his Rolex and cookies if he do knows how to make them!)
and many others who have helped in one way or another. Thank you~!

We are nearly there
Just some more final refinements and we could move in. Our neighbours from upstairs came down to look see look see while we were waiting for furniture to come in. The back-splash was finally up and our kitchen now looked complete. ID was trying to persuade me to do up the other side as well but i told him we were running low on cash. *unless he doesn't mind us not paying him the remaining dollars. Keke...*
The sofa came and gave a magical touch to the living area. It blended in well with our concept and most importantly, it was super comfortable. The Sony guys came and mounted our TV to the wall. At first, we were still a bit worried if it's too big but the size looked alright after all.
The bed frame and mattress were delivered at almost the same time as the washer and dryer. I was very nervous that they will hit my crystal light or chip my ceiling. Luckily, the two indian men were cautious and quick. It was a difficult job and I really got to give them a thumbs up for getting it done.
The washer and dryer delivery was the only thing that gave us some problems. First, the pipe they brought was not the correct size and they forcefully fitted it into drainage. Secondly, there was a huge dent on top of the dryer! The delivery men were trying to get us to pay up and accept the defected machine. They claimed that the agent will help to do an exchange for us. I refused on the spot as I felt that once I pay and sign, it will means that I accepted the machine in it's original condition. What if the agent decides that it was me who cause the damage and refuse to do an exchange? It will be none of the business of the delivery men since they have collected the full sum. The situation is very negative on my side and I insisted that they bring it back. They collected the money for the washer and told me the office will update me again on the delivery date of the dryer. Frankly speaking, I was not very happy and thinking of canceling the order. We'll see how it goes.
